In order to extend his social and medical services, Dr.Rajan founded two vital organizations – a non-governmental organization, Children’s Academy and a trust, R.K.Foundation.
Children’s Academy
was founded by Dr.Rajan and it has been working tirelessly to further his dream of nurturing wholesome development of children. The academy has educationists
Vice Chancellors, psychologists and other such eminent persons as its members and resource persons. They all support and appreciate Dr.Rajan’s views of bringing about a change in the way children are brought up in today’s age. The NGO regularly conducts various activities targeting children of all ages, their parents and grandparents – to create awareness on many important social issues to bring out creativity in children to help understand current problems in parenting and many such essential aspects. The Academy has worked successfully for the last 15 years and continues their efforts in nurturing the growth and development of children of Dharwad. It has definitely brought about a significant change in the way children are cared for and his and his team’s immense commitment requires acclamation.
R.K.Foundation
is a trust that was founded by Dr.Rajan and his family to widen the horizons of his medical activities. This foundation routinely conducts CMEs and many other academic activities. This is probably one of the very few private organizations to regularly conduct an annual CME in Dharwad, since the last thirteen years. Eminent national and state faculty are called as speakers at this event and it is an occasion to help private practitioners further their knowledge and update themselves.
